Transitioning from DocuSign

Lone Wolf Transact is now your go-to platform for e-signatures and transaction management. Here's a look at what's changing, and what you can expect to stay the same.

Lone Wolf Transact

What's Changing

  • DocuSign access will be removed on July 14, 2026
  • E-signatures are now handled through Authentisign, built directly into Lone Wolf Transact
  • Documents and forms are prepared inside Lone Wolf Transact, not DocuSign
  • New workflow steps (3, 4, and 5) replace your existing DocuSign process
  • Export any DocuSign documents you need to keep before July 14, 2026

What Stays the Same

  • Contacts and Opportunities are still created in Command first
  • The compliance review and submission process remains unchanged
  • Your Market Centre continues to review and approve documents
  • Signed documents are still uploaded to the Compliance Checklist
  • ZipForms users retain all existing transactions when they sign in
!

Action Required: Export Your DocuSign Documents

Before July 14, 2026, export any documents from DocuSign you need to retain. After that date, DocuSign will be disconnected and access will be gone. Contact your Market Centre leadership team if you need help.

Daily Usage

Your Daily Workflow

LW Transact: Command Edition

The complete workflow inside LW Transact: Command Edition, from creating your Opportunity to submitting signed documents for compliance. This is the full connected experience — once all your local board forms are available in LWTCE, this will be your end-to-end flow. Steps marked New Step are new to your process, replacing what you previously did in DocuSign.

Step 1

Create Your Opportunity

Create the Opportunity in Command and add as much detail as possible, dates, people, property information, and dollar amounts.

💡 You can create a new Contact directly while setting up the Opportunity, no need to do it separately beforehand.
Step 2 New Step

Sync with Lone Wolf Transact

In the Documents tab of your Opportunity, select a checklist type and sync with Lone Wolf Transact. This creates a linked Transaction in LW connected to your Opportunity.

Once synced, access your LW Transaction through the Documents tab. Remember to re-sync whenever you update information in the Opportunity.
Step 3 New Step

Prepare Documents & Forms

Most Canadian Market Centres use Webforms to prepare their required documents. Inside your LW Transaction, select your forms, update property details, add parties, and fill everything in before sending for signature.

💡 Keep Opportunity info up to date in Command and sync regularly. Gaps can also be filled directly in LW Transact.
💡 To use your local board forms, you'll need to link your CREA WEBForms® library first — it's a one-time setup. Follow the steps here → If you run into any issues, contact your Market Centre leadership team.
Step 4 New Step

Create & Send for Signature

Using Authentisign, Lone Wolf's built-in e-signature tool, create a signing, assign recipients, make final edits, and send documents out for signature by email.

This replaces the DocuSign envelope process you're used to.
Step 5

Upload Signed Documents

Once signed documents are returned, go back to your Opportunity in Command and upload the signed PDFs to the Compliance Checklist.

Step 6

Submit for Compliance Review

Submit your documents to your Market Centre for compliance review. Monitor the status to track whether documents are approved, returned, or rejected.

💡 Check the notification bell in Command for real-time updates on your submissions.
Sign via Webforms

Webforms & LW Authentisign

If your local board forms aren't yet available in LW Transact: Command Edition, CREA WEBForms® is the fastest way to get your transaction signed. Fill out your forms in WEBForms, launch LW Authentisign directly from the editor, and send for signature — no platform switching to get started. Note: signed documents still need to be downloaded and uploaded manually to Command to complete your MC submission.

💡 When to use this: Your local board forms may not yet be available inside LW Transact: Command Edition — a full live board sync is still in development. CREA WEBForms® gives you access to all of your local board forms now. Use this method to keep transactions moving until the full sync is live.
Step 1

Open Your Transaction in WEBForms®

Log in to CREA WEBForms® and open an existing transaction, or create a new one. Make sure your clients are added as contacts inside that transaction — Authentisign will pull their information from here.

💡 Add client name, email, and phone to the WEBForms transaction before launching Authentisign.
Step 2

Fill Out Your Forms in the Editor

Open any form in the WEBForms form editor and fill in all relevant fields — the same way you always have. Complete the form before moving to signing.

Step 3

Click the Pen Icon → New Authentisign

In the form editor toolbar, click the pen icon at the top. A "Send to Third Party Vendor" dialog will appear. Choose New Authentisign to launch the signing session directly from WEBForms.

💡 You'll see DocuSign® listed as well — choose New Authentisign to use LW Authentisign.
Step 4

Add Participants

Click Add Participants → Add from Transaction. Authentisign will pull your information and your client's information from the WEBForms transaction. Select everyone who needs to sign and click Select.

💡 Signatures and initials will be mapped automatically where the form has them set up. Use the Tools panel on the right to add any additional fields manually.
Step 5

Set Signing Order & Send

If needed, set the signing order in the Signers toolbar — drag participants up and down or change the numbers. When everything is ready, click Next at the top right, adjust expiry or reminders if needed, then click Send.

💡 The signing expires in 30 days by default. You can set email reminders to nudge clients who haven't signed yet.
Step 6

Track & Download Signed Documents

After sending, you'll return to your WEBForms transaction where a Signings section now appears. Track progress here. Once complete, both you and your client will receive an email with the signed documents attached.

💡 Download the completed documents from WEBForms or your email, then upload them to your Command Opportunity checklist and click Submit to MC when ready.
Important: Signed documents from WEBForms need to be downloaded and uploaded to your Command Opportunity checklist to complete your MC submission. This step is still required — Webforms does not connect directly to Command.

Other signing options available:

🔗 Sync to More Libraries (LWTCE) — Connect your CREA WEBForms® library through LW Transact: Command Edition. Keeps your transaction connected to Command but doesn't pull all local board forms yet. See Daily Workflow →

⏳ Full Live Board Sync — A direct connection between your local board and LWTCE is in development. When live, it will automatically populate all board forms inside Command. Stay tuned.
